NDU to Open a Campus in Capital Smart City Islamabad
The National Defense University (NDU) has decided to open its international campus in the newly-developed Capital Smart City Islamabad.
This decision was made after the announcement of Capital Smart City management that it is allocating a significant stretch of land for a special Educational City featuring multiple quality educational institutes.
An agreement with Capital Smart City Islamabad
On 3rd December 2018, the National Defense University (NDU) signed an important agreement with FDHL (Future Development Holdings) regarding the land allocation for NDU’s campus in the exclusive part of Capital Smart City Islamabad being developed specially for educational institutes. Back then, the University’s Administration had witnessed massive potential in this housing society and recently their expectations are turning into reality.
This agreement is now being considered as a torch bearing tool, attracting other quality educational institutes to also consider launching their campuses in this exclusive location in Capital Smart City. It is a major opportunity for universities and colleges across Pakistan to scale their existence and operations.
Capital Smart City’s Investment in Education
This educational city project is an effort by the management of Capital Smart City Islamabad to invest in the education sector of Pakistan. Habib Rafiq developers have previously had enormous experience with educational institutes being developed in Bahria Town. Therefore, they have decided to make this project as innovative as possible.
Such projects by Habib Rafiq (Pvt.) Ltd reflect a compassionate attitude of the Capital Smart City’s administration towards the education sector of Pakistan. The agreement of Capital Smart City with NDU can be considered as the first step in the path of transforming this housing scheme into Pakistan’s upcoming academic hub.
An Exclusive Educational City in Islamabad
The capital city Islamabad has a large number of quality educational institutes. However, no city in Pakistan has ever had an exclusive stretch of land especially designated for educational institutions. This means that Capital Smart City Islamabad has used innovation to uplift the position of Pakistan in the realm of education.
An International Project in the Capital
This project by Capital Smart City Islamabad has tremendous potential because it is expected to be an international endeavor. The quality of education and facilities will meet international standards, and foreign students are also expected to enroll.
This educational hub in Capital Smart City Islamabad will provide a platform for the world to come and study in Pakistan, witness its tremendous cultural heritage, and interact with the people of this beautiful country.
As the educational institutes would receive foreign enrollment, Pakistan is not only expected to progress in the educational realm but also in the economic domain as well. Therefore, the decision by NDU to build a campus in Capital Smart City Islamabad is just the beginning of a new era of education in Pakistan.
